More than 20 years of diverse experience in the construction industry, including structural design, the construction products industry and construction legislation. Special expertise in fire safety design planning, fire-safe construction solutions, fire insulation and fire blocks, product approval procedures for construction products and wooden buildings. Participates in the design of sites requiring performance-based fire safety design.

• Participated in the development of fire safety regulations (848/2017) and guidelines for buildings
• Participated in the development of regulations and guidelines for chimney structures and fire safety (745/2017)
• Experience in standardization work on fire safety in buildings (CEN / TC 127) and chimneys (CEN / TC 166)
• Participated in the writing group of the Fire Safety Guide for Ventilation Installations
• Involved in drawing up guidelines, including RIL 270 “Fire block design, implementation and maintenance” guideline and RIL 245 “Structures and fire safety of small chimneys” guideline.
• Participated in the activities of the board of Suomen Palokatkoyhdistys ry.
• Participated in the activities of Eurofins Expert Services Oy’s “Personal certification committee of fire block installers”
